As well as being a beautiful dance in its own right with plenty of modern artists composing songs in the Waltz's classic 3/4 time, the Waltz teachers the foundation patterns that form the basis for most dance styles.
2. Tango
Tango dancing is a true pleasure all by its self. The distinctive phrasing of the dance helps develop a sense of musicality that can then be translated to other styles of dance. Also, Tango is a great place to learn all about Lead and Follow.
3. Fox Trot
Dancing around the floor to Fox Trot music is awesome. The Fox Trot also helps you learn the skills of manoeuvrability and smooth combinations - these skills can easily be applied to all of the partner dances.
4. Viennese Waltz
The Viennese Waltz epitomises the Ballroom style. Its usually a dance that dancers learn once they have achieved the basics mentioned above in the Waltz, Tango and Fox Trot. Put altogether, the Viennese Waltz never fails to impress.
